About Us

Camp BB Riback is a Jewish summer camp located along the scenic shores of Pine Lake, Alberta Canada. Every summer, caring and enthusiastic counsellors offer a wide variety of creative programs for kids in grades one to ten. We pride ourselves in the belief that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to experience a full, enriching summer. Camp BB Riback has one of the most extensive land sports programs in Western Canada. Activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, canoeing, swimming, water skiing, and wakeboarding. Campers also have the unique opportunity to explore our climbing wall and ropes course, which includes everyone’s favourite, the zipline. Campers can play tennis, baseball, soccer, outdoor floor hockey, and basketball. Campers also participate in exciting evening programs, arts & crafts, musicals, dance, and more! At Camp BB Riback we ensure our programs are fun, challenging and accepting of everyone’s ability and comfort level. The Camp offers five specially designed programs for specific grade levels. From our Wonder Week campers in grades one to four to our Counsellors In Training program for teens who have completed grade 11. Our energetic staff are dedicated to making each day a memorable experience for all ages. Together, we are building the leaders of tomorrow.

Traditional Jewish blessings are said for every meal and weekly Shabbat services unite the camp in prayer. To end Shabbat, the camp organizes a special Havdalah service. Older campers participate in regular discussions where Jewish issues are discussed in-depth. Campers leave camp with a stronger sense of what it means to be Jewish in the modern world.

We take great pride in creating a loving, welcoming environment for all of our campers regardless of their background. The Camp Staff are trained at childcare and parents can be assured that their children are in the capable hands of caring, friendly counsellors. Every young person who stays at Camp BB Riback can be assured they will have an amazing summer in an atmosphere of tolerance, safety, inclusiveness and, of course, FUN!
