They receive excellent instruction in each program area, always with an emphasis on participation and fun. Evenings are a definite highlight with fantastic original programs organized by staff.
DO THEY STILL DO OVERNIGHTS?

Grades 7-8
Machon
Machoners dive into all the same daily camp fun as everyone else, in co-ed groups full of laughs and new friends. They'll cap off their summer with an unforgettable off-site trip that takes those friendships to the next level. Plus, through 3 special programs each session, campers get to dig into current world and Judaic issues, finding their voice and forming their own opinions along the way.

Grade 9
Leadership Training (LTP)
LTP is for campers who have just completed grade 9 and are ready to experience even more of what camp has to offer. LTP campers are involved in many informative leadership sessions and special activities, including an amazing off-site trip. The full summer program is recommended for LTP.

Grade 10
Councelors in Training (CIT)
CIT prepares participants to become camp staff, challenging them to think creatively, face their fears, and lean on each other — building skills that matter at camp and beyond. Guided by an experienced staff team, CIT campers dive into teamwork, Judaism, programming, and childcare, gaining hands-on experience with campers alongside trained counsellors, plus specialty area training from area staff. They'll leave the summer with a deep sense of unity and a final chapter in this perfect world that they'll never forget.

Grade 11
Jr. Councellor Program
Junior Counsellor is a new session this year. It is for young adults who have just finished grade 11. They will attend part of staff training and then be placed in a Cochavim or Ruach camper cabin. Junior counsellors will get hands on experience in cabins and rotations while being mentored by the staff in the cabin they are in. Junior Counsellors will not count towards camper-staff ration and will have a counsellor with them when with the children. Start dates are subject to change and will be confirmed prior to the start of camp. This program is a full summer program. $200 deposit is required to hold your child's spot and is non re-fundable. At the end of the session your child will be paid, amount will be determined by availability of Canada Summer Jobs grant.

Grades 7-11
Outdoor Adventure Tripping Program
We are pleased to be able to offer campers in Grades 7 through 11 safe, exciting and dynamic out tripping and outdoor experiences off of our main camp property. Our guides work alongside our counsellors to take our youth on outdoor adventures and camping trips in the mountainous Kananaskis Country and other areas. Activities often include hiking, rock climbing, river canoeing, geo caching, and whitewater rafting.
